Halvah (sometimes "halva") is a simple whole food, that reaches back to Old World Persia. Our recipe honors this ancient snack, while utilizing a most abundant and local to us sweetener; maple syrup! Organic sesame tahini, pure Vermont maple syrup, vanilla, and sea salt. That's it! This beautifully simple treat is an amazing energy source, and is free of gluten, grains, dairy, and refined sugar.
