Like so many companies before us, RobertBrews was created to fill a niche discovered through my own personal journey. I learned firsthand that necessity is indeed the mother of invention! After several heart attacks and open-heart surgery, my doctor insisted I cut salt out of my diet if I wanted to live. 
As someone who had been grilling and smoking foods my entire life, since my dad taught me as a kid, it’s something I’ve always lived for. However, I struggled to find flavorful rubs and seasonings that were low in sodium, yet still tasted great. That’s when I decided to create my own.
 
 In 2020, I launched four low sodium seasonings/rubs that are so good you want to put them on everything, and people do! All of our products are all-natural with no additives or preservatives, low sodium, vegan, gluten-free and made with ingredients largely sourced in Texas, which is why we are proud to now be a Go Texan member. One of our favorite local products, Black Gold Garlic, is made right here in San Antonio. The rubs are designed to enhance the flavor of meats and vegetables, but it doesn’t stop there! 
 
So why do we think our products are one of Texas’ best? They are Texas made and designed using ingredients sourced right here in our beautiful Lone Star state. They are high quality, low sodium and phenomenally flavored rubs/seasonings that offer health-conscious (or even not health-conscious) cooks some fantastic choices to elevate their cooking, barbecuing, smoking and then some!
 
 We started selling at San Antonio farmers markets in November of 2020 and have been thrilled with the customer response. That’s how we’ve learned just how versatile our products really are. Even vegans love sprinkling their veggies with our seasonings. As we continue to grow and expand, we look forward to the opportunity to be in H-E-B stores and kitchens all across Texas and eventually, America!
